1893. With a group of émigrés who are practicing target shooting in preparation for the war in Cuba
At a lot belonging to the rich industrialist Eduardo Hidalgo Gato, next to the Martello Tower, in Key West, Cuban émigrés practiced target shooting in preparation for war. Seated at the left of the photograph are Colonel Figueredo's two young sons. Perucho and Fernando, who threw bottles in the air with their slings which were used for shooting practice. Martí, with a derby, is indicated by the arrow.

En los terrenos del rico industrial Eduardo Hidalgo Gato, junto al fuerte Martello Tower, en Cayo Hueso, los emigrados cubanos hacían prácticas de tiro. A la izquierda, los niños sentados son Perucho y Fernando Figueredo, hijos del coronel de este nombre, quienes lanzaban botellas al aire con sus hondas para blanco de los tiradores. Martí, con un bombín, aparece indicado con una flecha.
