José Martí: una biografía

1893. In Key West, with members of the Cuban Revolutionary Party
In April of this year, the brothers Manuel and Ricardo Sartorius staged an uprising in Holguín, and Martí was obliged to travel to Key West to explain the event. On the balcony of Teodoro Pérez's house, from which hangs a banner that reads "Sartorius-Cuba-Martí," Martí is seen with various members of the Cuban Revolutionary Party and the Pérez family.

En abril de este año se alzaron en Holguín los hermanos Manuel y Ricardo Sartorius, y Martí tuvo que viajar a Cayo Hueso para explicar el acontecimiento. Aquí se le ve en el balcón de la casa de Teodoro Pérez, engalanado con el letrero "Sartorius-Cuba-Martí" y en compañía de varios miembros del Partido Revolucionario Cubano y de la familia Pérez.
